The world of BYTE is populated by victims of a corrupting force that transforms reality into a nightmarish abstraction of itself. Horribly disfigured shadows of humanity haunt the landscape and towering abominations relentlessly hunt the few remaining survivors. Those who have not yet succumb to the corruption live in a constant state of fear. These survivors’ only hope is to reboot their broken reality.
